"Family Support Services" - Parenting Education, Problem ID and Referral.

    Adults:
    1) Establish clear family expectations about alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs;
    2) Teach their children to avoid trouble and still have friends; 
    3) Learn skills to reduce family conflict; 
    4) Increase children’s roles in the family;
    5) Manage their families better; 
    6) Fewer of their children will experiment with drugs, or tobacco; 
    7) Family conflict will be reduced;
    8) Family bonds will be strengthen; and
    9) Strengthen communication between parents and their children. Risk/Protective Factors: 30-day use, Age at First Use, Attitude Toward Use (Disapproval of drug use), Attitude Toward Use (Favorable attitudes toward use), Perceived Harm/Risk (Perceived Harm), Perceived Parental Attitudes Toward ATOD Use, Resistance Skills, Life Skills (Decision making skills), Family Cohesion.
